Anglesey

It’s beginning to look a lot like 🎄

MDIY have had their end of the year get together, heres a few pictures from the Yoga Demonstration, I’m a bit hard to spot with my head down 🤣 in these wiggle asanas.

What a great turn out it was on Monday evening in Cardamon, delicious food and good company. I was meaning to take a picture, but forgot all about it! Oops 😊

Reflecting on the year, its certainly included the unexpected! But then again, every year holds things you couldn’t have imagined at the outset.

Adrasan, Turkey, September 22nd – 29th September 2024

It was the most amazing week, teaching alongside my friend Cathy in Turkey! And the good news is we are going to be doing it all again next year! Here are some of the pictures from 2023…

You might spot a few familiar faces.

Here’s what Jo had to say about the week in 2023…

I would strongly recommend booking this holiday, it was a deeply nourishing and relaxing experience. Debbie and Cathy are a brilliant combination, together they make the classes really fun and they have so much experience to share between them. The yoga is suitable for everyone, I’ve been practising for years and found it challenging enough, but there were also folk there who were beginners and the practice was adapted to suit all of our needs. If you’re in any doubt as to whether you can do all the yoga, don’t be!

The hotel is lovely, the food delightful and the location is really stunning. Turkish people are known for their hospitality, generosity and warmth, and that was certainly my experience. Everything was taken care of, and nothing was too much trouble. The fresh pomegranate juice (nar suyu) and brunch buffet after yoga in the mornings was also just delicious.

The beach is only a 20 minute walk from the hotel, but I spent many days just relaxing with my book by the pool. The day trip on the boat was an absolute highlight – sea swimming all day, exploring caves and all the wildlife on the coastline. Our host organised all day trips and made it super easy for us to get out and explore. By the end of the week my body felt strong, I was well rested, well fed and had met lots of lovely people from all over the UK. Perhaps the best thing was all the laughing we did though! The holiday met lots of needs for rest, relaxation, nourishment, connection, wellbeing…I can’t recommend it highly enough.
